Industrial insulation across Arlington, TX and the DFW Metroplex
The shop is in Arlington. The crew works the Metroplex out of it — the towns below are where we already are, not a list copied off a map.
Nothing about the work changes with the drive. Same crew, same free walk-down with an IR gun, same written estimate inside 24 hours whether you are four miles from the benches or on the far side of Dallas. What distance changes is scheduling: further out, more of the job is fabricated in Arlington before a truck rolls, and the small stuff gets batched into one visit instead of three.
The one hard floor is the mobilization minimum — $1,500, the same in every town on this list, because the survey, the benches and the crew cost the same to put on the road for one valve cover as for fifty. A job that clears it travels fine. A single small item a long way out usually does not, and we would rather say that on the phone than write it into an estimate.

- Mansfield, TX About twelve miles south, close enough that a boiler-room header gets walked one morning and its sections are cut the next.
- Grand Prairie, TX Our neighbor to the east, roughly eight miles out — near enough that a tank gets a second trip for a fit check instead of a guess off a tape measure.
- Fort Worth, TX Twenty-odd miles west on I-30, far enough that the work gets planned against your maintenance window and prefabbed in Arlington before a truck rolls.
- Kennedale, TX Seven miles south — so short a drive that a couple of sewn valve covers is still worth a trip of its own.
- Pantego, TX A separate town sitting inside Arlington, five minutes from the shop, which is how a single sweating chilled-water run still gets a proper survey.
- Dalworthington Gardens, TX The other town inside Arlington’s city limits, close enough that a jacket panel that does not sit right goes back on the roller the same afternoon.
- Hurst, TX Ten miles north in the Mid-Cities, and more mechanical room than open pipe rack — tight clearances, which is where the thickness rule gets argued out on the walk-down.
- Euless, TX Twelve miles north on the airport side of the Mid-Cities — an easy run when the work has to start before a shift and be off the floor by the afternoon.
- Bedford, TX Thirteen miles north, far enough that we batch the list: every sweating line and every torn vapor barrier surveyed on one visit instead of three.
- Irving, TX About fifteen miles northeast — a long enough haul that an autoclave door cover is measured, sewn in Arlington and delivered fitted rather than fussed with on site.
- Cedar Hill, TX Twenty miles southeast, the kind of distance where stripping old insulation and rebuilding the run get scheduled as consecutive days, not two separate mobilizations.
- Burleson, TX About twenty-five miles southwest down I-35W: a full run of line travels fine at that distance, a single bare elbow does not.
- Crowley, TX Twenty-five miles southwest and right next to Burleson — close enough to it that a vessel there and a punch list here land on the same week of the schedule.
- Forest Hill, TX Ten miles west toward Fort Worth, near enough that jacket panels get cut to a field measurement and go back on the truck the same day.
- Benbrook, TX About twenty-five miles west, past Fort Worth — far enough out that cold work gets sequenced properly, strip and dry before insulate and vapor-seal, instead of squeezed into a half day.
- Grapevine, TX Roughly twenty-five miles north, at the top corner of what we cover from Arlington — worth the drive for a cover list long enough to fill the truck.
- Dallas, TX About twenty miles east, and a big enough city that parking, freight elevators and building access go into the plan up front instead of getting discovered on day one.
What the drive actually changes
Insulation travels further than most trades, because the crew is on site for days rather than hours. A week of pipe, a tank and its heads, a shutdown list of removable covers — the mobilization is a small share of a job measured in linear feet, so a plant in Grapevine or Cedar Hill books the same as one in Kennedale.
The exception is the one-item call. Driving across the Metroplex and back to re-band six feet of line means most of what you pay covers the truck instead of the work. Batch it: five small things at one facility in one visit is worth the trip when any one of them alone is not.
Shutdown work is planned backwards from your dates no matter the address. Tell us the window, we fabricate everything ahead of it, and wrench time inside the window is hours instead of days.
